The Feast of the Immaculate Conception is a traditional time for Sisters to renew their vows and for Associates to renew their promises. Across California, Sisters and Associates gathered together.

In Southern California, Sisters and Associates gathered at Ramona Convent Secondary School on Saturday, Dec. 3. Mass was presided by Father Nick Reina, SDB. During the liturgy, two new Associates were welcomed, Margaret Kaiser and Sharon Girolimon Corbitt. Afterward, they enjoyed a delicious catered dinner.

On Sunday, Dec. 4, Sisters, Associates, Lay Consecrated and friends from Northern California gathered at Holy Spirit Chapel in Campbell, CA. A reception was held after Mass and the Renewal of Vows. Jesuit friend Fr. Chuck Tilley celebrated the liturgy.

Later in the week, several Sisters from Merrill Gardens, Our Lady of Fatima Villa, and the local area joined St. Mary School community for the Student Mass and reception on Dec. 8.  Stephanie Lynott(Associate) and the fourth-grade class prepared the liturgy. The Kindergarten students entertained the Sisters during the reception and gave them handmade Christmas stockings filled with goodies.
